Outstanding Actors

Darren Criss

Now, Darren Criss may be the reason that some of you are now interested in Starkid. Not only is he ridiculously handsome (more widely dubbed supermegafoxyawesomehot), but he is also extremely talented. He played Harry Potter in both A Very Potter Musical and A Very Potter Sequel. Due to his short-lived role in Eastwick, Darren was only able to be a member of the ensemble for Me and My Dick. He played Toby Phillips in Little White Lie. For those of you Glee watchers, you may know him better as Kurt Hummel's recent love interest, Blaine Anderson! While working on Glee, Darren somehow managed to write all of the music and lyrics for Starship. This poor boy needs some sleep! No matter what he does, he does it with a quirky sense of humor and charm. Darren is slowly but surely making his way into the mainstream and we wish him the best of luck for the future.

Joey Richter

How does one describe Joey Richter? The jokester of the Starkids? The second half of the bromance known as RiCriss? Or simply, the redefined Ron? No matter how you see him, you can't deny that he has serious talent. Joey played Ron in both A Very Potter Musical and A Very Potter Sequel, and also played himself in Me and my Dick. His most recent and biggest achievement was playing the lead role of Bug in Starship. This role was extremely demanding both vocally and physically, considering that for most of the play, Joey was attatched to a giant bug puppet! Joey always does a great job and I must say, he is "totally awesome!" (see below)

Bonnie Gruesen

Bonnie is most commonly known for her role as Hermione Granger in AVPM and AVPS. Unfourtunately, these were her only Starkid productions. However, they were played to perfection. Her portrayal of the smart, frumpy girl next door was brilliant. Her singing voice is absolutely incredible and her chemistry with Ron (Joey Richter) and Harry (Darren Criss) brings out the best in her acting. She is fantastic and simply awesome. And no, she is not a night troll.

Lauren Lopez

In her simplest definition, Lauren Lopez is hysterical. She has been in every Starkid production since the very beginning. She played Tanya Freemont in Little White Lie, Draco Malfoy in AVPM and AVPS (her most famous role), had a cameo in Me and my Dick and played Taz, basically a female Rambo, in Starship. She actually plays another character in Starship, Bugette Buggington, who is hopelessly in love with Bug, Joey Richter's character. Personally, she is my favorite Starkid. Her acting skills are impeccable and her line delivery is sheer genius. All of her characters are played to perfection and she has an amazing sense of comedic timing. She is most definitely one to watch!

Joe Walker

Joe Walker is definitely one of the more comedic actors in the Starkid group. He comes out of nowhere and gives a hilarious performance as Lord Voldemort in AVPM, Dick in Me and My Dick, Dolores Umbridge in AVPS, and Commander Up (and a drunk snail) in Starship. His attractiveness mixed with his comedy make him a force to be reckoned with. He somehow manages to play each role with his own special character and have fantastic chemistry with the actors around him. His singing isn't half bad either! So, go check him out and crack up!

The Bros

Here I shall combine Brian Holden (Brolden) and Brian Rosenthal (Brosenthal). They are both incredible actors with great voices.

Brian Holden has written for every Starkid production and played Lupin in AVPS as well as Junior in Starship. He has been getting a lot more attention with the character of Junior, as it is his first major role. He has one of the best voices of the Starkids and uses it to melt the hearts of fangirls everywhere. Brian, congratualtions on your big break!

Brian Rosenthal played Quirrel in AVPM, Seamus Finnigan in AVPS (among 3 other cahracters!) and made a cameo in Starship. Brian is extremely lovable with fantastic one-liners. His voice is definitely Broadway-worthy. His chemistry with Joe Walker in AVPM was able to begin the bromance of Quirrelmort, the bond between Quirrel and Voldemort. The Starkid fandom cannot wait to see what he does in the future!
