Three Days Grace is a well known rock band.The band started in Canada in 1992 under the name "Groundswell". However the band broke up shortly after that, but in 1997 they got back together and formed Three Days Grace. This band consisted of Adam Gontier (lead vocals,guitar),Neil Sanderson (drummer), and Brad Walst (bass).In 2003, Barry Stock later joined as the lead guitarist. In 2003,Three Days Grace released their first album "Three Days Grace." This debuted number 69 on the Billboard 200.The album got pretty good reviews, and their single "I Hate Everything About You" was considered their breakout hit. The band then toured for nearly two years with Barry Stock joining as guitarist.

In 2005 after touring, lead singer Adam Gontier checked himself into rehab for an addiction to Oxycotin, a pain killer. While in rehab Adam began writing alot of music about what he went through. In 2006 their album "One-X" was released. This debuted number 5 on the Billboard 200. It once again had pretty good reviews. A few songs on the album such as " Animal I Have Become", "Never Too Late", "Gone Forever","Over and Over", and "Pain" were all written during Gontiers experience getting sober. They later toured through the end of 2006 and all of 2007 for their album.

In 2009 they released their third album "Life Starts Now".This album was directed toward moving foward in life. It had a slightly different sound then what fans were expecting. This debuted number 3 on the Billboard 200, and was their highest chart position.The album once again had mixed reviews. Three Days Grace announced their upcomming tour dates. They even co-headlined a tour in the Us with bands Breaking Benjamin and Flyleaf.
